  • Welcome to a New Golf Society Season
Welcome to all our members new and current for our 2026 season!

We have a great range of courses this year and we hope that you enjoy each and every outing.

We are delighted to continue our association with our main sponsor
Lloyd Daly Auctioneers and of course our Captain's Day sponsor Kavanagh's Pub in Laurel Lodge.

Lloyd Daly Auctioneers - Proud Sponsors of the Laurel Lodge Golf Society.
    Outing Schedule
  • Congratulations to Mick Deasy on his excellent 40 point win at the Captain's Prize outing in Headfort Old Course
Full results for our 2026 outings are available below.
    Outing Results
  • Our away outing for 2026
We will be having our away outing on Friday 23rd of October in Mullingar Golf Club.
Many thanks to Donal Cunningham for handling the majority of the organisation of the upcoming trip.
Full details will be announced as soon as everything is confirmed.
  • Our Next Outing in 2026
    Co. Meath (Trim) - Saturday September 26th, 09:00am - 09:50am
  • Matchplay Final 2026
Congratulations to Maura Greaney and Mick Neville who booked passage into the final by beating Cormac Molloy and Donal Cunningham after what is being described as a titanic battle.
They are awaiting their opponents from the second semi-final, whose match has been postponed for a week or two due to an injury to one of the competing players. We'll update you as soon as we know the latest situation!

Again many thanks to Donal Cunningham for spearheading the competition and indeed for making it to the semi-final. The full match results can be seen here.
  • Golfer of the Year
Golfer of the Year is progressing nicely again for 2026.
Now that we have four outings completed, we can show the top three scores from the players who are in the mix!

Who would bet against hot favourite John Concannon at this stage? Would it make a difference if we were to leak the information that he won't be there for the Trim outing so it's an opportunity for the chasing pack to close the gap considerably!!! Who knows? I suspect it will all come down to the final outing of the year in Mullingar.

    The excitement builds!

LLGS started very strongly and won the first 4 matches and looked like they would romp home to an easy victory.

However, The Fiver Golf Society responded magnificently by winning the four remaining matches to draw the competition.

As this was an inaugural event the Cider Cup goes (for safekeeping purposes only) to The Fiver Golf Society.

Roll on 2027 for the return match!
